Let me introduce you to Lil’ Orphan Scrappy. She was made from scraps and only scraps. The largest piece of fabric you need for this entire quilt is 5-1/4”. Begin with a beautiful center and key off the colors in the center, leading you to the fabrics for the rest of the block. You will know when the fabrics are right when they start singing to you! Take care with the placement of the half-square triangles around the border to create the zig-zag look. It is just plain fun!
Dig into your stash or SABLE (Scrap Accumulation Beyond Life Expectancy) and make a Lil' Orphan Scrappy quilt. I know you have them.....now it's time to use them. The finished size of the quilt is 77" x 86".
